GASR Time

@Mar came across an issue where some of the member profile tables were broken.  (The tables people create in their about me section mostly.)  I'm in the process of trying to figure out why this happened and am waiting on forumotion for a response to this, so an update regarding that will be posted as soon as possible.

In the meantime, I have identified the problem and have come up with a fix for it.  This is an easy fix and all of you should be able to do this without issue.

1) Go into your table coding on your profile and find this:

cellspacing="0"

2) Delete it.

3) Add "border-spacing:0;" to your table style tags.  Doesn't matter where, you can tack it on the end.

Example:

Code:
[table style="background-color:#ffffff; border:1px solid #000; padding:5px; border-spacing:0;"][tr][td][/td][/tr][/table]

If you cannot find the cellspacing option or are having issues making this change yourself, post here and me or another member of staff will make the fix for you.  If you visit your profile and your table coding is working as it should, then you're perfectly fine and don't have to make any changes!  This is just for those who have the cellspacing attribute in their coding.

Please bare with me while I try to figure out why this happened and wait on a response.  Sorry for the inconvenience!

@Jecka I went in and fixed it for you!

For future references, you had:
Code:
[table style="background-color: #99C3E9; border: 1px solid #99C3E9; color: #99C3E9; padding: 2px; width: 330px;" border-spacing:0;]

When it should be:
Code:
[table style="background-color: #99C3E9; border: 1px solid #99C3E9; color: #99C3E9; padding: 2px; width: 330px; border-spacing:0;"]

All the style coding needs be between the quotation marks in order for it to work.
Hopefully that helps!

@Dandelion I fixed yours, the problem was similar :) there was a quotation mark in the middle of the code that wasn't necessary

Thank you!

Just for clarification,

border-spacing does the exact same thing as cellspacing does, only cellspacing can't be used with the style attribute. Cellspacing will still work within posts, just not within profile fields. I don't think anything will work in the profile fields anymore unless it's a tag following the style attribute.

Since a lot of you learned how to make tables using my guide, or previous experience with coding in general, you already know how to code them properly and I don't expect many people to have this issue.
