Artist of the Moment

Tarte

Visit my shop View my bio

I have been an artist on gasr for almost 5 years now, It took me so long to get to where I am now, and I am still learning. I'm currently a intern for makeup, still in school and have a part time job. Art has always been apart of my heart and it always was that "stress reliever" whenever i needed it. I have been into arts since the 5th grade once I started to draw on pencil and paper, and in 8th grade I found digital art and the amazing art of makeup. When I grew older, I found that art was all about me and I wanted to succeed in it. Many friends supported me in trying to work harder, many people helped me get to where I am now. Without art, I have no clue what id be doing. I enjoy seeing people's faces light up after I finish a piece or after im done beautifying their "imperfections". THAT inspires me.

GASR Time

Hi! Ok I'll explain the way i resize my works:

1. First of all, this is how i have defined the canvas proportions.

width 1560
height 2136

2. I use SAI to do all the work I'm not sure if you can resize the image (canvas) in the same program, so I export the whole work when is finished to Photoshop and just choose this option (sorry my PS is in spanish) "Save for web".

3. Next i just "resize it" from this box
    => to this

4.Also i've noticed when i export from SAI to Photoshop the whole color features change too! ;3; making them more umm colorish/brilliant (? like this

                    SAI                                           PS

Anyway I don't know if I'm doing it correctly because i have noticed that when I upload the resized image to Imgur (i use it to store my works) the quality is good there but when it "upload/post" the image here the quality goes loweeer (and i hate it) ;3; I don't know if it's normal or what but please heeeelp me >_<

Also forgive me if i can't explain properly ( my english is not very good e.e)

OML you are having the same problem that I have on my desktop computer.
To fix the color issue in PS you go to edit -> assign profile  and then you can choose whatever color profile options you like best. I'm at my parents on my laptop so I can't tell you exactly what I have it set to, to fix it. But you should be able to eyeball it.

As for the resizing you will loose some quality when going to something small pixel sized. Go to Image -> image size in PS, change bicubic automatic to bicubic sharper[best reduction] See if that helps some.

I hope this helps @_@

I'm not sure what the issue is, but you can resize images in Sai.
