I've honestly tried typing every search word you can think of in Google but I don't even have any idea what the hell to call this because I've never encountered it before and I don't know what's even going on. I'm so frustrated because I've finally gotten more motivation to draw and now this shit keeps happening.

So.. As you can see with each overlaying brush stroke the line becomes darker and darker despite the chosen colour being hella pastel purple. ?? I probably pressed some buttons by mistake but?? Help  

(the numbers are how many brush strokes I did)

Check the transparency settings of the brush you're using and double check to make sure flow is on 100%.  You might have changed it by accident?

Another thing is to check your color dynamics in brush settings.

Make sure the control drop-down is set to "off".

change your brush to normal instead of multiply

)I do that too sometimes by accident
its the "Mode" or the "Flow" but its mostly with "Flow" for me LOL)
