Hi everyone! I'm currently in my last year of university, graduating in May next year! I love art and I've tried my hand at various things such as drawing anime/chibis/doodles but it seems like I'm better at doing pixel art, so I've stuck with that since. I'm self-taught, so I'm still experimenting around with different styles. I've been running an active shop for over a year with a few hiatuses in between. I love GASR as it has a great community where I can interact with fellow artists and art lovers :) I've made many friends here over the years and I hope that continues for a long time to come!

hi there,
I just made a piece of art for fun and am now looking to sell it, do you think selling it in an auction is better or as a premade?

Premade imo.
Auctions have been really slow and people don't bid as much nowadays. I think having a set price would give you a bit more profit than an auction

I agree with Mar, because also in auction even if people do bid you risk the chance of not earning what you expected.

So if you think it's something worth auctioning than go for it.
But if you think you'd get a more reasonable amount for your work in premade do that.
Like Mar said too though auctions are pretty slow nowadays, but don't want that to discourage you.

In the end it's really what you would feel most comfortable with. If you choose to try auction and it doesn't sell you can throw it out there for premade, and if it sells for less than you were hoping then maybe premade is better. But I don't think most people are throwing big bucks toward auctions like they used to.
