It's the season of giving and what could be better than giving to those who are most in need? In order to help others celebrate the holidays we'd like for all of GASR to come together and help donate money to those who are less fortunate and to help put a smile on a child's face this year! Click here to donate. The deadline to donate is December 20.
Hi, I'm Kori. I joined GASR in 2014 and have grown to love the community and people here. I'm a self taught hobby artist but I've liked to draw and paint ever since I can remember. I didn't get into using a tablet till a few years ago- and I love it. My family has always been a really big supporter in whatever I do, so I hope to continue and make it a more serious thing. I believe there's always room for me to improve so that's what I plan to do.

Idk if I am posting this right but yeah, move it for me if it's on the wrong place pls So What I wanted to ask is, when you come up with an idea for a pose you want to draw a character in, but you have no idea how to draw it, and you can't find references that look even close to the pose you have in mind, how do you guys do it?

Usually I just have one of my siblings model it for me, look at myself in a mirror, take a picture of myself or use a doll.
▽Feel free to PM me if you need any assistance regarding Auctions or any of the things I fall under on theContact Page.

^^ I have one of those cheap little anatomy dolls you can get practically anywhere. (I got mine at walmart for like $3.) I actually have 2. I don't know how, I just ended up with two.
You can manipulate every part that has a joint, including the head. It's perfect for having a pose idea but not knowing how to put it on paper. It's also good for just playing around and coming up with a pose you like if you don't have an idea either.
They look like this:
They have more advanced ones like these, but I don't know where to get them, how much they cost, and I don't think they're really all that necessary. Just preference I guess.
