Artist of the Moment

Tarte

Visit my shop View my bio

I have been an artist on gasr for almost 5 years now, It took me so long to get to where I am now, and I am still learning. I'm currently a intern for makeup, still in school and have a part time job. Art has always been apart of my heart and it always was that "stress reliever" whenever i needed it. I have been into arts since the 5th grade once I started to draw on pencil and paper, and in 8th grade I found digital art and the amazing art of makeup. When I grew older, I found that art was all about me and I wanted to succeed in it. Many friends supported me in trying to work harder, many people helped me get to where I am now. Without art, I have no clue what id be doing. I enjoy seeing people's faces light up after I finish a piece or after im done beautifying their "imperfections". THAT inspires me.

So I've been trying to record my art for a while, and no matter which program I use, I've tried, camstudio, xsplitbroadcaster, livestream podcaster; I keep getting these weird af lines on half of the screen.

I'm not sure about this... my only guesses could be a driver problem or incompatibility issues regarding the software and the OS. For example, after latest update I am getting driver crashes and there were even lines on my screen after such crash and nothing I've tried helped either lol My last resort is a system restore 8{>

suppose you're right, I'm going to try to manually reinstall my video related drivers if that doesn't work perhaps system restore is last option

thanks for the help Moose

I've been fighting with my own error.. I remembered you asked this question when my display driver crashed and a part of my screen was covered in lines and I thought this also might be an issue with a driver.

So far I have updated my Intel HD driver using this one software called Driver Talent and sitting here waiting for the error again LOL Though for updating/reinstalling you don't even need a special software, but yeah I found it while looking for solutions. I don't even know what happened with the update, but yeah... even system restore didn't help with the driver acting up.

Also I had a problem with joinme on Win8 a while back and I had to basically troubleshoot the compatibility since it was just streaming black screen. It fixed the issue.

I think after update some of the files got corrupted perhaps or were no longer compatible with certain video types. My laptop is a vaio so I went on sony website and looked for the drivers for my model, and I found the video specific drivers, I am missing a few that didn't get updated automatically for some reason.

So yeah, I intend to do that today later on

Good luck with that! Updates indeed can sometimes ruin things... I would know... lol
