Artist of the Moment

Hi, I'm Kori. I joined GASR in 2014 and have grown to love the community and people here. I'm a self taught hobby artist but I've liked to draw and paint ever since I can remember. I didn't get into using a tablet till a few years ago- and I love it. My family has always been a really big supporter in whatever I do, so I hope to continue and make it a more serious thing. I believe there's always room for me to improve so that's what I plan to do.

Soooo, lately i've been wanting to improve in terms of drawings from scratch,
and tbh I am a newbie when it comes to drawing, i've been colecting tuts all over DA, and I wanted to know what canvas size you guys recomed to start drawing for a newbie like me

Thanks in advance!

mm I always draw in 2800x3200 o3o''
or 800x1200 for 1 drawing

its better to draw in a big canvas so that you could also add a couple details in it
but with a big canvas, try to avoid to zoom in really close while drawing <: (makes that mistake alot lol)

i personally start at like width 1000 and height 700 and size up if i need to, (which i usually do)
It's the first option for canvas sizes in the 1000's range.
