I am not sure why it's doing that...
I use gimp and it usually doesn't give me such issues lol

does this only happen when you make transparent gifs?

That's actually the tutorial I used to get to this point. Originally it would just appear as one continuous blur of images each frame literally ontop of each other and then i did the replace instead of combine thing in that tip and the animation appeared as it does above.  Like it tried to replace each one but somewhere along the lines I don't know what happened. I am going to be getting photoshop soon, but do you know how to fix the issue if it may happen there?

It seems to only happen when I do transparent gifs.

Photoshop is alot better program than gimp when it comes to making gifs.
I made a quick transparent gif in photoshop to show you what it would be like when you save a gif.

in Photoshop when you want to make a transparent gif you have to make sure that the image you dont want to be show stays hidden. like so.
now usually the bottom layers will stay hidden through out the frames, but for the one I just made I made them visible as the frames went on.
now when you want save any type of gif you have to go to file> save for web & devices. otherwise the gif wont work.

when you do get photoshop and you have anymore questions about it you can talk to me anytime. c: I will try to help you as much as possible

Thank you so so much!!!! I am hoping to get it next week because yeah ;/ GIMP doesn't seem to like transparent gifs [aside from blinking things] which isn't very helpful for my life lol
