Hi everyone! I'm currently in my last year of university, graduating in May next year! I love art and I've tried my hand at various things such as drawing anime/chibis/doodles but it seems like I'm better at doing pixel art, so I've stuck with that since. I'm self-taught, so I'm still experimenting around with different styles. I've been running an active shop for over a year with a few hiatuses in between. I love GASR as it has a great community where I can interact with fellow artists and art lovers :) I've made many friends here over the years and I hope that continues for a long time to come!

Guys, if you don't like the toolbar there's an arrow you can click to hide it!
Mon 7 Apr 2014 - 7:44
(This may have already been stated so ignore me if it has)
But I think there should be like a setting somewhere where users can permanently turn the toolbar off? I know there's an arrow but it seems like if I click it, then close my browser and check my emails again later the toolbar comes back? And I'm not really on Gasr 24/7 to keep the arrow working.
I don't really like the toolbar or the notifications, and I don't think it's necessary tbh..
But like I said, if this has already been stated then please ignore me~

you can barely notice the toolbar, I'm pretty sure that you can turn notifications off for the toolbar and just continue to receive them by email.
Mon 7 Apr 2014 - 10:28
It's also been stated that one click to hide the bar isn't too much of a strain on your hand. So. :3

Going back on something I said to the staff previously ~ (Mostly about the Favorite Threads option)

The toolbar has now made me feel more organized with threads & notifications. o-o
Before I just piled everything into my watched threads, completely ignored the favorite threads option, but now that I get notifications piling up I decided to move really active threads that I just tend to silently stalk into my favorites and kept ones I'm active in in my watched topics. :D
Being organized is a great feeling, so I feel super awesome about that, and I hope we get to keep the toolbar, it's been super handy for me at least.

I feel like we're finding all these features we can add to GASR and just doing them because we can.

I don't use it because it seems like extra when i can simply check what I am watching myself. It doesn't even tell you what thread someone is talking in..that doesn't really help me and the private message part seems rather unnecessary because I can clearly see i have a message so they don't really need to notify me too and of from who...I'll clearly see it when I click the inbox lol. Same with the other notifications. The search bar ...I mean...there's already a search option that pretty much does the same thing...but It's nice that we have the option to hide it and turn off the notifications though for those people who do use it, they can. :3 middle ground.

this may not be the post for this buy why did all the text suddenly get microsized? I am used to it now but in the beginning it made my eyes hurt. I still zoom in though, just because..why strain? Some of them are fine, it's the people who are using tiny text in the first place where it sort of makes it worse..

Read some of you guys dislikes & likes
and came to the conclusion.

The toolbar is pretty helpful, I say keep!
Likes  I'm lazy so I don't like checking forums just to
see if someone replied, to find out they didn't.

+ If you don't like it ...  eue

Dislikes It's annoying on my phone but, I never keep it charged anyway... to lazy.

another dislike, It shows every time someone post, but then again that's good for request forums I guess.

Even if the Yes- But spend gets more votes, I kind of don't see it happening with the lack of funds :I.

In the right hand corner.

You can see your fav threads on your profile or there is a shortcut on the portal as well.

@Bedlam omg thank you. Last question, when you comment on a topic, it automatically watches it. Mine doesn't do that anymore. Is there a certain amount of topics you can follow until it stops auto watching? :<

Mine doesn't auto watch it anymore either actually! I noticed that a month or so ago, but I watch a lot of topics so I'm not sure if there's even a limit!  Not sure if want

OH! And while I like the tool bar and wish for it to stay I don't think you guys need anymore improvement on GASR, everything is pretty straight forward on it and it's a great website...maybe instead of finding new ways to improve it you should just find ways to keep it as it is (financially) :]

As mentioned before... (by Renleixa) I would love it if it said which thread someone have been posting in. It would be helpful! Otherwise I love the toolbar feature :]
